Ornament Close-ups

I was having fun tonight playing with the close-up setting on the camera as we decorated the tree, and I thought you might like to see some of the things we have on our tree.

In my family, each ornament has sentimental value and a story behind it.


Last year we started a tradition of each receiving an ornament on Christmas Eve. This purple and gold ball was Jared's last year.


We bought this starfish ornament in 2000 on our first trip to the beach together.


This sleigh was on our wedding cake (many of our tree ornaments came from our wedding reception-- that's what we get for getting married in December!)
