Tonight I made muffins and stirred in some pumkin puree and pumpkin pie spice. I'm trying to use up all the pumpkin in the freezer from last year before this year's crop is ready to harvest.
They were sooooo yummy!

I've been called Birrd by my family for years. I hope it's because I'm cheerful and pleasant to be around. I'm also curious and creative. Since becoming a mother, I have found great creative satisfaction in pursuing the traditional homemaking arts such as scratch baking, canning, gardening, quilting, and sewing. I homeschool my children and find this to be a fascinating and rewarding challenge. I am a devout Christian of the Latter-day Saint variety and as such am completely devoted to my family. I have a marvelous husband (the Badger), boys who are nine (Bean) and seven (Fish), and three small girls-- five-year-old Roo, three-year-old Rabbit, and a very small Peanut.
