Sam's Peter Pan costume

Sam's Peter Pan costume is pretty much done. I want to figure out how to put eyelets and lacing on the shirt, and I still need to make a hat (for which I have no pattern!) but I've made great progress. He's going to be adorable. I've been trying to find plain long underwear for him to wear under the costume but all the long underwear in stores these days has loud-colored footballs and trucks and stuff on it, and that's not really what I'm envisioning for my Peter Pan. Hmm... maybe a plain white turtle neck?


Here is a closeup of the collar. This is the kind of thing that used to scare me to death, but after my sewing class it's no problem!
